A fully restored and sorted aircooled 911
Porsche produced the 911E from 1968 to 1973, (B-Series to E-Series) replacing the 911 (Lux), and it was designed to be the most comfortable and drivable of the 911 range fitting neatly between the 911T (Touring) and the 911S (Super). The designation 'E' came from the German for injection: Einspritzung. The mechanical fuel injection system (MFI) was developed jointly by Bosch and Porsche to be used on the 911E and the 911S and resulted in more power, better drivability, and a cleaner running engine. In 1972 the 911E (E-Series) benefitted from a larger engine (2341cc) and the stronger 915 gearbox, and in 1973 the front spoiler from the 911S became standard.
1 of only 1366 2.4E models manufactured in 1973 and retaining it's original engine and gearbox and finished in its origianl colours
Purchased by the current owner from VSOC as an all original Italian supplied 1973 2.4E he embarked on a total restoration in Germany. Using suppliers and specialists know for their expertise in air cooled 911s the car is now in an exceptional and correct conditon.
It would be impossible today to find an original car and embark on a full restoration without spending less than €200,000 so this 911 offers extremely good value for money in todays market. We have priced this car very aggressively to attract the attention of buyers looking for great value.
